National Photography Championship2026 – 2027 edition

Every image accepted at a salon earns a point towards the national title. For two years, measure yourself against juries from around the world, follow your progress in the ranking and try to succeed Paul Gudendorf, 2024 – 2025 champion.

Key points at a glance

Who? Any holder of an FLPA licence valid for the whole championship, member of an affiliated club.
How? Register on the championnatflpa.eu platform, then take part in the salons listed below.
Which images? Only pictures taken in 2020 or later. The FLPA may ask for the EXIF file.
Which salons? Salons under FLPA patronage, FIAP biennials in which the FLPA takes part and a selection of FIAP-patronised salons, for 2026 and 2027.
The ranking is updated after each judging. Remember to send your accepted or awarded images to the championship manager.
Two categories: senior and junior (based on age at the deadline of the first salon).

1 point per acceptance, +1 point per medal, honourable mention or other award.

A maximum of 18 points per salon or circuit.

In the event of a tie, the title goes to the author with the most awards.

What’s at stake titles and awards

Trophies and medals

Trophy for the senior and junior champions, medals for 2^nd and 3^rd place in the senior ranking.

Off to FIAP

The national champion is invited to the next FIAP Congress or the next FIAP Photo Meeting. Registration, accommodation and meals of the official programme are covered by the FLPA.

Vouchers and distinctions

Vouchers for the top 10 seniors and top 3 juniors (subject to participation conditions). Those who take part in every contest have the fees for their next FIAP distinction covered.
